Homes: Renfrew-Collingwood (Vancouver)
These neighbourhoods are at the eastern border of Vancouver between East Broadway and East 41st Street. Renfrew contains the lightly forested valley of Still Creek (which flows east into Burnaby Lake), through which the Grandview Highway runs, now a concentration of "big box stores" and is served by the Rupert and Renfrew SkyTrain stations (on the Millenium Route). The neighbourhood also has a concentration of tech industry office towers along the SkyTrain route. Collingwood is the southern portion which is busiest along Kingsway, with its many shops and restaurants. Collingwood is served by the 29th Street and the Joyce SkyTrains stations. Around Joyce is the new Collingwood Village cluster of apartment highrises. Homes The homes here are mostly houses, row houses, rental units, apartments built after the 1970s. 
ShoppingThe main shopping street in the neighbourhoods is Kingsway which cuts diagonally through the community, with the Collingwood-Kingsway Mall at East 41st Street.. Kingsway is also is the main route west into Vancouver's downtown or east to Burnaby's Metrotown Mall and shopping area. Recreation In the west of the community is Trout Lake in John Hendry Park, with community centre and ice arena. In the middle are Renfrew and Slocan Parks, with indoor pool, community centre and public library and the Renfrew Ravine wildlife corridor. Just to the East is Burnaby's Central Park which has a pool, ballpark, track and pitch & putt, Schools These neighbourhoods are served by 11 elementary schools and 2 secondary schools, the Vancouver Christian School, and has 2 public libraries. The East Broadway area (just to the northwest of these neighbourhoods) is full of post-secondary institutions, including BCIT's Great Northern Way campus, Vancouver Community College's King Edward campus. BCIT's main Burnaby campus is just to the east of the neighbourhood. East Side of Vancouver Community Map
