These two neighbourhoods have about 4,000 residents, about 1/6th immigrants (a mix of United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Taiwan, India and the Philippines). The area's average household income was $75,000 with a highly educated population, with double the proportion of university grads than other parts of New Westminster.
Most Queen's Park residents live in single-detached homes, in small families. Glenbrooke North residents are evenly split between single detached house and apartments & condos.
Shopping is clustered around 6th and 6th and the Royal City Centre Mall
Queens Park is the recreational centre of New Westminster, and is home to an arena, walkways, a curling rink, the Canada Games Pool and Fitness Centre, and the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame.
The area is served by an elementary school, a public library, New Westminster High, and is close to Douglas College's downtown campus.
