Two creeks through the golf course are home to spawning salmon and several ponds were created to provide fish habitat. Wildlife is frequently seen on the course. Spectacular mountains views from the 9th and 18th tees on top of the escarpment. The 10th hole is a par four that challenges the golfer with a short iron shot over the rock face of an escarpment to the green sitting on top. |

The Golf Course conditioning reflects the standards set by Jack Nicklaus himself, and when it opened in 1996 Jack played an exhibition round, and was named Golf Digest ‘s "Canada's Best New Golf Course" that year. Many of the greens are protected by the distinctive Nicklaus bunkering especially noticeable on the five challenging par three's. |

They lie on well treed, level terrain adjacent to Surrey’s Nicomekl River, just 10 kilometers from the U.S. border. Riverside has plush fairways, three small lakes and a river affecting several holes, leading to large flat greens. The 4th hole has both trees and the river in play on the right, a lake on the left, and trees immediately behind the green. The 1st and 6th holes have water on both sides of the greens. Riverside has a driving range, practice area, and three CPGA professionals offering expert instruction. |

This championship length course was cut from a mature timber forest, with spectacular mountain vistas in every direction. Bald eagles are prevalent, especially in November and February, during their migration. The par four 423 yards 4th hole is considered the biggest challenge of the course, with a slight dogleg right requiring a long tee shot to get proper placement for the approach to the green. |
